Kenya Quality Awards 2026 On-Site Assessment by Kenya Bureau of Standards

The Kenya Bureau of Standards (KEBS), through the Kenya Quality Awards Secretariat, will conduct an on-site assessment on Thursday, 13th August 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the University’s Main Campus.

The purpose of the visit is to verify the information and evidence submitted during the self-
assessment stage and to confirm the effective implementation of the University's quality
management practices, systems, and processes. The assessment will also evaluate the extent to which quality principles are embedded in the University’s operations and service delivery.

The Kenya Quality Awards provide an opportunity for the University to benchmark its
performance against nationally recognised standards of organisational excellence while
identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Your commitment, professionalism, and
cooperation will be instrumental in ensuring the success of this important exercise.

To facilitate a successful assessment, all Heads of Cost Centers (HoCCs) and staff are requested to extend full cooperation and support to the assessors throughout the visit.
