Quality assurance at MMUST has a set of activities whose main purpose is to ensure that the University meets quality requirements in most if not all its activities.

Quality Assurance Directorate was established for the need to monitor continuous improvement of quality service provision in all aspects of the University core functions, across border harmonization of quality standards in university education and formulate internal mechanism that will prepare the University for External Evaluation.

Quality Assurance Directorate is the technical secretariat for the University Management Representatives functional operations. This includes the implementation of the quality management system by coordinating the conduct of internal and external quality activities for each cost centre at MMUST and its campuses/ ODeL learning/ study centres.

The Directorate also plays a vital role in ensuring that the University documentation that includes various vital university policies, reports and other relevant documents which are references to various publications and statutory/ regulatory requirements are well kept and maintained.
